Be a driving force shaping All Abroad’s impact on the lives of metro Atlanta youth through international travel and volunteerism. Board members are legally constituted volunteers with the responsibility to development policies and continuously review the organization’s conduct. Board members are also active participants in raising funds and securing resources to support All Abroad’s Mission.

Election to a two year term, subject to re-election.

• Willing to be a PROACTIVE member of a working Board.
• Passion for our cause and willingness to accept and promote the mission, goals and objectives of All Abroad.
• Willingness to commit time for Board meetings, committee meetings, planning sessions, and special events.
• Possesses professional expertise and influence needed by All Abroad and/or represents one or more constituencies needed to provide balance to the Board’s membership.
• Has demonstrated significant leadership capability in the community and is willing to provide that expertise to the operation of the Board and its committees.
• Willing to make or raise a personal financial contribution that demonstrates commitment and sets a standard for others and is willing to ask others to give.
• Able and willing to serve effectively as a public representative of the organization and involve others in the work of All Abroad.

Through personal resources or through the cultivation of new donor relationships, Board members are requested to pledge an annual donation of $1000 to support All Abroad’s programs and services.
